Parade - 1:00 p.m. - Begins at Lion, Inc. on Dogwood Ln., continues to Prestonsburg Street, Broadway Street, Court Street, Main Street and ends at Herald-Stewart-Halsey Funeral Home.

Music Headliner and Opening Act - Begins at 6:30 p.m. at Old Mill Park Amphitheater.


SUNDAY

Souvenir Sales - Under the Big Top on Main Street (From 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.)

Sorghum Sales - Under the Big Top on Main Street (From 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.)

PARADE INFORMATION

Parade Co-Chairs Chelsea Steele Cantrell and Danell McKinney will be contacts for the parade.  The theme of this year's festival is TBA.  We would love to see a variety of floats in 2024!  If you have any questions about the parade, you may contact Chelsea Steele Cantrell at 606.495.7072.


Rules:

  • All persons driving a motor vehicle or utility vehicle must be a licensed driver.  No exceptions.
  • Current elected officials or those running for office may participate.  However, only your name can be visible on your vehicle or utility vehicle.  No "Elect" or "Re-Elect" campaign signage is permitted to be posted on the vehicle.
  • Lineup for the festival will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Lion, Inc. parking lot on Dogwood Lane.  Please arrive in plenty enough time to be placed in the lineup.
  • Judging for floats will begin at 11:30 a.m.
  • Prizes for Floats - $750 First Place; $500 Second Place; $300 Third Place.
